Introduction

Andrew Garve, Roger Bax, Paul Somers? Who was he really?

He was Paul Winterton, a journalist who gave up journalism for thriller-writing, for which we can be grateful. He created some of the most ingenious plots imaginable, and peopled them with agreeable characters. He used his expertise in small-boat sailing and pot-holing to augment the suspense.

We would love to hear from others who know and enjoy his books, and from anyone we can encourage to try them out.
